Made for families

The Sunday call with Grandma. The kids checking in from college. A quick hello while dinner's on the stove. Video Phone Peer is for the people you'd call without thinking twice.

Why families love it

Just you and your family

No company in the middle. Your computers call each other directly - in the same house or across the country - with nothing to set up.

Private by design

Every call and every message is sealed so only your family can see or hear it. And nobody can pretend to be someone they're not.

Everyone together

Call one person, or up to three at once. Anyone on the call can bring someone else in - nobody's in charge, and nobody joins without being asked.

When part of the family lives somewhere else, a small helper on our server lets your computers find each other. It only ever sees where to connect - never a word of what's said.

Bringing everyone in takes one shared code

Start a family group and you get an invite code - five ordinary words, easy to read out over the phone or paste into a text. Whoever you give it to can ask to join, and you decide who gets let in.

Once everyone's in, the whole app is one page: who's around right now, a button to ring them, and one family chat - on a call or not, kept on your computer until you clear it.

Windows only, for now. Video Phone Peer runs on Windows 10 and 11, so everyone you call needs a Windows computer too.
