How it plays
No turns. Just reload.
You and the CPU fire as fast as your mortars reload. Read the wind, find your range, and keep your Martian out of the blast.
A CPU that does the math
Your rival aims by simulating its own shots, dodges hazards and races you to every power-up. It will find its range fast.
Rock is cover
A towering massif splits the field and every side gets matching boulders. Put rock between you and a blast to shrug off most of the damage.
Power-ups by parachute
Capsules drift down mid-fight: Repair, a Dome shield, Rapid Fire and Heavy Shells. Walk under one, or shoot it out of the sky to claim it.
Every sound synthesized
Thumps, whistles, thunder and sizzling lava are generated live as you play. No samples, no audio files, just math.
Any window, any width
Play windowed or full screen. Wide monitors see more of the sky, and the controls adapt down to a small window.
Mars fights back
Watch the sky
Every duel gets interrupted. Warnings flash at the top of the field, so you have a few seconds to move. Use them.
- Asteroids incoming
Rocks streak in from space, sometimes in pairs, and some home in on a Martian.
- Lightning
A dust storm gathers over the high ground, then strikes whatever stands closest.
- Windstorm
A gale bends every shot, and a tornado roams the field flinging shells and jostling barrels.
- Eruption
A lava vent cracks open, sprays molten blobs and leaves a burning pool. Keep clear.
