Sky Carpet: The Samira Chronicles · Effective 16 October 2026

Sky Carpet collects no personal information. It never connects to the internet itself, and the only things it saves are your progress and, for a Store trial, the day the trial began, on your own PC.

What the game saves

When you finish a mission, the game remembers your best score, stars and time for that mission, and which of its endings you have reached, so it knows which missions to unlock. That is all it saves. It is kept in a small file on your PC:

A free trial from the Microsoft Store also keeps the date and time it began, and the latest time it has seen, in a second small file (trial.txt) in the same folder, so it knows when the trial is over.

These files never leave your PC. To clear your progress, delete progress.json. Uninstalling a Store copy removes it with the game; uninstalling a website copy leaves it in place, so a reinstall picks up where you left off.

What the game does not do

The Microsoft Store and Windows

If you get the game from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download, installation and updates, and Windows may send Microsoft crash reports and usage data according to your Windows settings. Microsoft shares only aggregated figures with developers, such as install counts and crash rates, never anything that identifies you. That data is covered by the Microsoft Privacy Statement, not by this policy.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them, and Google receives your IP address as it would for any web request (see Google's Privacy Policy). The web host may keep standard server logs of requests.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
