The wind is yours to command. The sky is wide open.

The carpet hovering over a city of domes and minarets, a beam of light rising from the museum at the end of the avenue
Over the city, the museum's beacon ahead

There is no cockpit and no wings. You stand on a red and gold rug that ripples under your feet, and the city drops away below. Bank over minarets and flat roofs, skim the desert to the pyramids, slip under the deck of the Golden Gate Bridge, and fly between the legs of the Eiffel Tower.

Every journey has a job. Collect a treasure, carry it across the city, and set it down where it belongs. Black-carpeted robbers chase you for it, vultures dive from above, and every knock does damage. Throw gusts of wind to blow them out of the sky, gather gems and magic lamps along the route, and follow the beacon to the portal that carries you to the next adventure.

Somewhere along the way, the dark fairy Samira is waiting.

The route

Six landmarks, one long flight

Every mission ends at a portal, and every portal opens somewhere new. Where they lead is for you to find out.

Flying across the desert toward the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx

Egypt

The Pharaoh's Scarab

Day

The Golden Scarab of Khafre must go home. Collect it from the roof of the Grand Museum and carry it over wooded hills, palms and cypresses, out across the desert to its tomb beside the Sphinx. Tomb robbers on black carpets want it. Vultures guard the sands.

The Golden Gate Bridge over San Francisco Bay, under banks of cloud

San Francisco

The Cathedral on the Hill

Day

The portal throws you out high over the Golden Gate. Collect a reliquary at Grace Cathedral, carry it over the Victorian rows and steep hills to Coit Tower, then race back to defend the cathedral's stained glass from wave after wave of raiders, gulls and brutes.

Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain at midnight, in driving rain

Stonehenge

Storm over Stonehenge

Midnight storm

A portal opens onto Salisbury Plain in the teeth of a thunderstorm, and Samira's whole horde is waiting. Survive through the rain and mist to the three portals flickering round the stones. Only one leads out. The false ones throw you back to where you began.

The Statue of Liberty on her island in New York Harbor

New York Harbor

The Torch of Liberty

Day

Samira's raiders got here first, and the Statue of Liberty's torch has gone dark. Collect the eternal flame in Battery Park, at the tip of Lower Manhattan, carry it past Ellis Island and hover beside her raised arm to relight it. Then keep it burning.

Notre-Dame on the Seine, at dusk in falling snow

Paris

The Thief of Paris

Dusk, in falling snow

A masked thief on a crimson carpet has stolen the Rose of Notre-Dame. Chase him along the Seine, round the Arc de Triomphe and under the Eiffel Tower. Six gusts bring him down. If he reaches his portal on the hill of Montmartre, the Rose is lost.

Venice by moonlight: St Mark's Square, the Campanile and the basilica's domes

Venice · The finale

The Masked Sorceress

Moonlight

Carry the Rose up the Grand Canal, under the Rialto, to St Mark's Basilica. Its light breaks the shield Samira waits behind. Then duel her over the square: dodge her violet bolts or blow them apart, and bring her out of the sky. She says no one can free her.

The bargain

Samira, daughter of the Serpent

"Such a heavy burden, for such a lovely rider. Rest a moment; time will wait for us. Give me the scarab, and I will call them away. Refuse me... and I cannot hold them back." Samira, over the Egyptian desert

Time stops while she makes her offer. Think carefully before you answer.

How you fly

Stand on the rug

You ride standing up, in first person. Bank into a turn and your head tilts with it, and the carpet's fringe ripples harder as you pick up speed.

Throw the wind

Your weapon is the wind. A gust curls toward attackers ahead and knocks robbers, vultures and gulls clean out of the sky. It even breaks Samira's dark bolts.

Guard the cargo

Every hit and every bump against a wall damages what you carry. Magic lamps restore it, and gems along the route add to your score.

Hover to deliver

Slow right down and hold steady over the roof, the tomb door or the torch. A beacon always points the way, so you always know where to fly next.

Defend, chase, duel

Each mission plays differently. Hold off waves round a cathedral, survive a storm, run down a thief across Paris, and face Samira herself in the finale.

Earn three stars

Each mission takes about five minutes. Bring the cargo home in good condition and under par time to earn all three stars, then fly it again to beat your best.

The world

Fly anywhere. The horizon never runs out.

  • Endless landscapes stream in around you as you fly, so you can always go further.
  • Landmarks you can fly through, from the Sphinx to the Rialto Bridge. Pass under the Golden Gate's deck and between the Eiffel Tower's legs.
  • Weather and light for every region: desert sun, a lightning storm, snow at dusk, and a full moon over the lagoon.
  • Music for the menus and every mission, and a soft wind that rises with your speed.

At your fingertips

Keyboard and mouse. The menus work with either, and every key hint on screen can be clicked. Press H in flight for the help card.
