Island Golf collects no personal information. It needs no account, has no sign-in and plays entirely offline.

This policy covers the Island Golf game for Windows, from the Microsoft Store or from this website, made by Extra Medium Software Co. It takes effect on October 12, 2026.

What the game keeps, and where

Everything Island Golf saves stays on your PC, in your own Windows user folder:

  • Your settings: the backdrop, the swing console, sound levels, the screens you play on, and your golfers' names and colours.
  • Rounds you choose to save.
  • The game's sound effects and music, made on your PC as it runs.

None of this is ever sent to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game, or deleting its folder, removes it.

What the game sends

Nothing. Island Golf makes no network connections of its own: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting to us.

With the Clear backdrop, the course floats over your desktop, and the game looks at the colours just around the ball so it can stay visible over whatever is behind. Those colours are used there and then, and are never stored or sent anywhere.

The Microsoft Store

If you get Island Golf from the Microsoft Store, the game asks Windows whether you're playing the free trial or the full game, and buying the full game happens in the Store's own window. Microsoft handles those, along with any information Windows and the Store collect, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We never see your payment details. Microsoft may share anonymous sales figures and crash reports with us, as it does with every Store app; these don't identify you.

This website

Our website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. If you write to us through the contact page, your name, email address and message come to us by email, and we use them only to reply. The demo's Unlock button opens this website in your browser, like any other link.

Children

Island Golf collects no information from anyone, children included.

Changes

If the game ever changes what it does with information, we'll update this page and the date above before it does.
